Have there been any changes in determinants of household income in Afghanistan during the last years?
Today’s household income is often used as an important indicator of Economic. Understanding the case of problems and upgrading the income of share of household is not only an academic interest but also very helpful for future planning that the government and also policy makers take into account. The main objective of this research is to assess which factors of income for Household have changed during the last few years in Afghanistan. And also to analyze the important elements of these factors on Household income in most populated five provinces of Afghanistan since the level of incomes in these provinces including rural and urban areas differ vastly. Besides analyzing the changes, this research aims to take into account how positive or negative changes of each variable have impacted the household income in local areas. Such a survey that collects information concerning important factors of Household income had never been carried out in government of Afghanistan since 2009 when I did the survey for five provinces of Afghanistan to determine household incomes as my master thesis. That research will be published by NCPR soon. The present research will determine the changes of factors determining the household incomes and impacts of these changes in the last few years. The result of this research will not only show how successful policies of government have been, but also indicates the important factors that policy makers should take into account for future plans of government.
