EUSA_ID: The 2nd Cohort Has Started and 3rd Call for Scholarship Applications Is Open

Britta Niklas shares the latest news from the Mobility Programme.

For the second cohort, the selection committee selected 10 new Masters students, 5 PhD students and 3 staff applicants for a mobility grant. Most of the students and staff already have started their mobilities.
3 of 4 European students already joined their respective programmes at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), and the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN).

South African students already at their partner universities

All South African Masters students have already started their mobilities and arrived safely at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland), Palacký University (Czech Republic), the University of Bordeaux and Sciences Po Bordeaux (France), and the University of Duisburg/Essen (Germany), while one South African PhD student will start in December at the ISS/Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands).
All selected staff applicants have already returned to South Africa after having spent 1-3 months at partner universities in Europe.

3rd Call for Scholarship applications

South African Masters students, PhD candidates, and staff are invited to apply for a mobility period at one of the European EUSA_ID partner universities, while European PhD candidates are invited to apply for a mobility period at one of the South African partner universities!

More information on available mobility scholarships of the 3rd Call can be found in the respective sections of the EUSA-ID website.
The deadline for the 3rd Call is 20th November 2015!
