Afghan Lecturers Graduating from the Bachelor Upgrading Programme

Congratulations to seven Afghan lecturers from the Universities of Balkh, Jawzjan, Kandahar, Khost, Nangarhar and Paktia who recently completed the Bachelor Upgrading Programme in Management and Economics at RUB!

The Bachelor Programme, which is conducted by the IEE in cooperation with the Management & Economics Faculty of RUB, aims at upgrading the teaching capacities at the Afghan Partner Faculties. Moreover, the Bachelor Upgrading prepares the Afghan lecturers for international Master programmes in Management and Economics. The programme is a core component of RUB's efforts to support the implementation of qualified Bachelor Degrees in Management and Economics in Afghanistan through curriculum development, development of teaching and learning materials and training of lecturers. To date, 79 lecturers from 10 Afghan partner universities have participated in the Bachelor Upgrading. Out of these, 69 lecturers have successfully completed the programme by studying 12 months at RUB and successfully passing examinations in at least six subjects of Management and Economics.
