The DAAD funded project aims at enhancing the visibility of the PhD in International Development Studies throughout Europe, strengthening the integration of doctoral students in European research networks and fostering the inter-European mobility of postgraduate students.

What are your employment and career opportunities after graduation? Data is currently available for more than 70% of our graduates and of these not less than 45% are working in international, bilateral, regional or national organisations of development cooperation. Another 14% are engaged with developmental NGOs while 5% are working as consultants. 18% are active as lecturers at universities in their home countries and 5% are currently undertaking PhD studies.
