Short Profile
Noah is a DAAD-funded doctoral scholar in International Development Studies (PhD IDS) at the Institute of Development Research and Development Policy (IEE), Ruhr University Bochum. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Development Studies (IDS – Economics Option) from the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana, and a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. Prior to joining the IEE in November 2025, Noah worked as a professional educator in Ghana and has participated in several field research projects, surveys, and community development initiatives. He has published work on credit access and market participation among smallholder farmers in Ghana. His PhD project examines how agroecological transitions contribute to sustainable agriculture among smallholder farmers in Ghana as they navigate land degradation, environmental justice, and socio-cultural dynamics.
