Short Profile
Caroline grew up in South Africa and has a background in Economics, Law, and Development Studies. She has studied, worked and lived in Ghana, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Ethiopia, South Africa and Egypt. Her regional focus within her studies was sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA region. Currently she works in Nigeria as an advisor on labour market integration. Her PhD project is a socio-legal analysis of different international labour market instruments fostering women-economic empowerment. She has worked for the German Embassy in South Africa, GIZ in Ethiopia and Nigeria, NGOs and think tanks.
