On Friday, 20th of February, 19 candidates of the MA in Development Management programme (MADM) proudly received their graduation certificates after having successfully defended their Master theses. The graduation ceremony, held at the Convention Centre on the main campus of the Ruhr-University Bochum, brought together students, IEE staff, and friends and family to celebrate this important milestone.

Speeches were delivered by Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Löwenstein and Dr. Gabriele Bäcker, who shared their congratulations with the graduates. Student representatives also took the stage, expressing their gratitude and reflecting on the journey they had undertaken together. The ceremony was further enhanced by live music performed by the talented band from the local Bochum Goethe high school, contributing to the overall atmosphere of the event.

This day marked not only the conclusion of the academic pursuits of the graduates, but also the commencement of new adventures and opportunities. The IEE community of current members and alumni takes immense pride in their achievements and eagerly anticipates the contributions they will make to the field of development management.
