EPOS-Network-Coordinator Robin Pass has started his appointment at the Institute of Development Research and Development Policy (IEE) in the beginning of April 2016.The Master's programmes "Development Management" at the Ruhr-University Bochum and "SPRING" at the Faculty for Spatial Planning at the Technical University of Dortmund have recruited Robin Pass as a Network-Coordinator, for the purpose of a systematical build-up and the coordination of intensified networking activities between the 43 DAAD-funded "Development-Related Postgraduate Courses" (EPOS-Network).
With his establishment at the TU Dortmund and – in a second phase – at the RUB, both universities are taking a pioneering role in the organized exchange between teaching, research, and management, involving students, alumni, teachers, and their respective partners in science, economy, and development cooperation. Robin's tasks include, amongst others, the enhancement of the attractiveness of the EPOS-Network as an international offer in the development-related postgraduate qualification.

Nicole Dittrich joined the IEE as a research fellow in January 2016. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Intercultural Management from the University of Jena. Before joining the IEE, she worked in the fields of Corporate Social Responsibility and purchasing, as well as in the project NoPa/Puxirum, which aimed to develop strategies for sustainable development in the Brazilian Amazon. Her research interests lie, inter alia, in food security, product certification, and food waste, with a focus on Africa and Latin America.
