The first students who received a scholarship within the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Project EUSA_ID started in 2014. By now some of these EUSA_ID scholarship holders have already graduated.
At our Partner University, the University of Duisburg-Essen, two EUSA_ID students (Yanda Bango and Broc Rademan) have already graduated from the Master in Development and Governance program. Three students (Nicolette Peters, Kia Da Silva Cunha, Bhavna Deonarain) have already submitted their Master theses and are near completion of their programmes.
At the IEE, four students (Bruce Julies, Anele Maqubela, Keneilwe Manganya and Banele Njoko) finished their studies and received the title “Master in Development Management”.
At our Partner University, ‘Palacký University Olomouc’ (Czech Republic), Xanani Baloyi was one of the first three graduates in the new English-taught Masters Programme in International Development Studies (see photos below; photos: University Palacký, Department of Development Studies).

The last Call for EUSA_ID scholarship applications expired on 15th June and 3 more South African Masters applicants, 1 South African PhD applicant and 5 European PhD applicants were selected to commence their studies in 2016.
