Short Profile
Since December 2021, Ricardo Paris is a doctoral researcher at IEE focusing on geomatics, territorial inequalities, and rural development. He has experience coordinating projects for UNEP in sustainable and smart cities in Brazil, and monitoring aid relief projects for WFP in Bolivia. He has also participated in the elaboration of urban development plans in several Brazilian cities.
His master's research was conducted in Ghana dealing with food insecurity in communities impacted by land grabbing.
